Air base on George Kortsolakis' Miniature Crete.
Since 2003 George has been building this homage to his native island at the side of his house in Bay Ridge. He was kind enough to talk us through the history of his project. He is an inspiring man, full of passion and pride, dedicated to his eccentricity.
George Kortsolakis is the closest thing to a Greek god that Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, has to offer.
I visited George on Day 41 too and have some more pictures of him and his creation.
