Tools at the ready to begin designing my first iPhone app.
Today I finished the Stanford iPhone development course I've been following for the past month or so and I'm ready to get working on an app I'm very excited about.
With a rough idea and a mountain of enthusiasm it could be tempting to jump right into graphic design or start coding but that would inevitably lead to problems and dead-ends so I took a step back to ensure I plan this out coherently.
Once ready, the app will be released under the moniker Top Drawer Apps, a homage to my grandfather, Donal Prendiville, a great man who told terrible jokes (out of the top drawer) and remains an inspiration. Just as the name Little Deer was always personally significant, it feels appropriate to start this new venture with a nod to Grandad.
