I spent an hour walking around DUMBO taking photos down by the waterfront and under the Manhattan Bridge.

Then I returned to York Street station and while waiting for the train back to Manhattan happened to spot this composition.

I was struck by the division of the frame in two distinct halves and the contrast between neat symmetry and grungy textures.
